Floral Dresses, Celebrity Fashion Trend

With the right silhouette, celebrities like Anne Hathaway and Emma Stone can make flower-patterned dresses look sophisticated and sleek, take this into consideration the next time you go to a formal party.

It's imperative to select a sophisticated silhoutte when it comes to floral dresses. The simpler the better when it comes to wearing such a sweet pattern, from strapless mini to chic column frocks. Take a look at Emma Stone and Leighton Meester by getting rid of ruffles and frills in favor of sleeker fits. The next time you look for a ballgown, look to Shailene Woodley, she perfectly balanced her hoop skirted number with a simple neckline, unexpedted ankle length hemline, and no jewelry. To make sure you flourish in your floral dress, keep your accessories to a minimum.

Red Carpert Recap: 5 Of The Hottest PYT’s From The People’s Choice Awards 2012 (Who’s Your Favorite?)

The net is all a buzz over last night’s People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles.  And if you’ve already googled the red carpet recap, you will have noticed this year’s roster was missing a few big names like new divorcees Katy Perry and Kim Kardashian, +2.  But that’s not to throw shade on the ladies who did bother to attend.  In fact, without the overcast of those more paparazzi popular starlets, there was all the more shine to go around for other PYT’s like Tia and Tamera Mowry.  Check out 5 of our favorite celebs in their choice garbs for People’s Choice 2012.

Miley Cyrus looked mature in her off white cut-out dress that had just the right amount of sexy, for a change. Looking at her here on the People’s Choice red carpet, it’s almost hard to believe she’s America’s favorite frat boy.

Tia Mowry’s sweeping silver metallic gown charmed with a very sophisticated look. Maybe even a little too sophisticated, compared to some of the other starlet’s dresses. A side slit in the skirt or more revealing neckline might have made it a little more fun.

Tamera Mowry’s short LBD hit just the right style note by striking the right balance with the sweeter flared skirt with and spicier laced torso. And her shoes were a personal fave for us.

Vannessa Hudgens gave a red carpet tutorial on how to do hot with her long black slip dress topped with a longer, glittery floor length web-like mesh dress.  And the side-slit detail made it sizzle even more.

Emma Stone showed up just in time to cool us down. She threw a red-carpet alley-oop with her black, green, and white pant suit that looked incredibly tailored and well styled together. A look like this is always refreshing on the carpet full of frocks.
